A difficult start to the year for the Norwegian Hotel Industry due to lock-downs and restrictions caused by the Corona virus. The occupancy rate fell by 24,8 points compared to the first half of 2019, ending at 28.8 %. The room rate fell by 1.6 %, ending at NOK 971 in the first half of 2020. RevPAR ended at NOK 279, a decrease of 47.2 %.
