Market report 2020

After 2019, all indicators were positive regarding 2020. The year begun with strong numbers in both January and February, but due to the coronavirus, the Norwegian Hotel Industry had its biggest fallback since WW2. There are some differences between cities, and especially looking at specific hotels. E.g., Hotel Union Øye has had one of its best years in 2020. This is also represented in the statistics, where we see evidence that hotels located outside the major cities and focuses primarily on the leisure market has generally performed better than others during 2020.
